The Chiefs and 49ers delivered a great Super Bowl game last night, one of the best, or, at least, closest, ever. In addition to the football, it's always a spectacle. The ads, the halftime show and the parties make it fun for just about everyone.
Watching the game, I couldn't help but wonder....
What did a ticket to the game run? An average of $12,240, ranging from around $6,500 to $70,000 after fees. The most expensive ever, up 38% from last year. ¹²³
How much did the ads cost this year? $7 million for one 30-second spot (just for the ad time!)²
Is roller skating making a comeback? Maybe I should have kept my rollerblades.
What is Taylor Swift up to? Okay, maybe not, but it's not her fault CBS felt the need to show her 20 times during the game.
And with that, the football season is over. But never fear, spring training starts Wednesday and March Madness is just around the corner.
